Similar to products and other data in Shopify, you can set the status of a POS Custom field to be Active or Draft. The Draft status allows you to create the field without it being visible on point of sale devices. This can be used while you are building fields, or if you have fields that don’t need to be available all the time.
To publish a field and make it visible on point of sale devices, set it’s status to Active.
In the POS Custom Fields admin in Shopify, the Status allows you to set the status of the field to active or draft.
